I had my hair cut this morning and I was very happy with the results. Nicole did a great job! I asked for long layers and I loved the way she cut it. I hate going to get my hair cut! I have Natural, thick Curly hair, and I have never been happy with any hair cut. When I came to Precision Cutz, it was weird because there was only two men there. I thought to myself, is this a barber shop or a Salon? The Salon is vibrant, nice and inviting. Was greeted me at the door with a huge smile and was not intimidated by hair at all! I could immediately tell that he was confident that he could do a good job. They didn’t look scared like other stylists usually do when they see my hair. He thinned my hair, and layered it so that it fell very nice. They used a technique that I have never seen before. They also did a dry cut. I have read that the best way to cut curly hair is to do a dry cut, but I have never found anyone who could it. When he told me he was going to do a dry cut I got excited. My cut is wonderful, it feels so soft, and seems to have allot more volume and looks more curly and light. While my hair dried, The owner came over and held my daughter and played with her while they cut her hair. They both gave such great customer service, they have a new client for life! Don’t let the location fool you. A salon doesn’t need to be couched in a posh place like Santana Row to do you good. What I got from this salon MINUTES AGO was Grade A quality in a chill environment. Tina took her time on coloring my hair. She had a perfectionist attitude and made me feel comfortable. And, she cut my hair exactly the way I wanted her to – meaning she didn’t get scissor happy like most stylists do. Yes, it’s true, she actually *listens!!! Plus, they use the best color on the market – Paul Mitchell. I came from big-end salons like Umbrella and W’s Salon, and I have NEVER been this satisfied in all my experience. – Cindy Dinh
I highly recommend Precision Cutz in San Jose! Don’t let the location fool you…this new Salon is ideal for both men and women!! They have barbers and hair stylist ready to whatever you like to do with your hair. I needed my hair done for NYE and I was able to get an appointment the day before. On the day of I had to cancel due to a schedule conflict and they were so cool about it….then literally 30 mins later I called back asking if I can still come in for an up-do after I had just canceled!! Abdul Momeni (the owner of the Salon) was super flexible with me and had me come in. Nicol Mendoza was the stylist who worked on me. I have that natural straight very fine with no kind of volume hair so at first I wanted an up-do then I changed my mind and decided for just curls….and due to the type of hair I have…it’s hard to hold a curl! I went in around 1:45pm and I told Nicol I needed my curls to hold until 2am the next morning!! Nicol was awesome! She curled my hair sprayed it down and I was out of there in 30 mins tops!! By the end of the night….my curls were still in place! I think I found my new favorite spot to get my hair done. – Jules Chanhmany
I went to Precision Cutz on a friend’s recommendation, and I was not disappointed! The entire experience was great. Nicol did my color and cut, and I am very happy with the results. She suggested adding low-lights, and I really like how the color looks. The cut I received is very easy to style, which is important since I am a new mom. THE best salon experience I’ve ever had!! I was lucky to get Nicole to cut and color my hair and I’ve never been happier with a cut. Not only was she great with the cut, she gave me good advice so that I could keep it up at home as well. I live in Hollister, but will continue to make my future appointments here. I have been going to the same hair stylist for many years, and had been satisfied, wasn’t really looking for a new hairstylist. However, I came here and gave it a try, because my hairstylist was out ill. Man, LOVED the way Nichole did my hair. She colored, cut, and styled my hair. I’ve been getting so many compliments on my hair lately. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Very cool, relaxed, and warm atomsphere. Young and hip stylists. After years and years of getting my hair cut with another stylist who is great – I decided to go out on a limb and get my hair cut here because I heard good things. Plus the price was RIGHT! I normally pay $45 plus tip so about $55 for a cut and I have short hair. So for me right off the bat I saved money. They offer top notch salon cuts at affordable prices. My search is finally over for someone I can trust my locks with! My hair was down to the bottom of my back, frizzy, and had no style. I left my hair in Tina’s hands and walked out with layers that framed my face in all the right places, a shine that I haven’t seen since I was 12, and a huge smile on my face.
